Here's my removable battery tray. The batteries will be secured down to the tray by hook and loop, the hook and loop also helps isolate vibrations.

My parallel harness came in, this should be perfect. I had a few modelers comment to me that I needed to use a series harness not a parallel one. They are wrong as a series harness would double the voltage and keep the mAh the same. this would definitely let the smoke out of my motor or ESC. By going with a parallel harness I will safely double the mAh rating (this is good) keeping the voltage the same(this is good too).
