A few questions on Cowl Repair. I'm concerned about how to secure the balsa filler piece for sanding, and how to resecure it after applying monocote.

OK.... got the balsa plug installed. ready to sand to shape. I used "Foam Cure" (foam glue) by Bob Smith, cuz I thought it would be easier to remove when I have to reglue with the monocote applied. It seems to be holding well, but it's also soft enough to remove later.

OK.... balsa plug installed. Ready for sanding to shape. I used "Foam-Cure" by Bob Smith Industries cuz I thought it would be easier to remove when I have to reglue the plug with the monocote applied. It seems to be holding well, and still soft enough to easily remove.
